Students of NJIT attended a studio course focusing on the E2 Timber Development Competition. Their work focused on the programming of the site and explored social dimensions of large scale timber developments. In particular, the works demonstrated added value of combining diverse user function. The students took approaches that introduce new perspectives to the Centre of Kuusankoski. Architects Douglas Gauthier and Kristina Kesler instructed the studio course.
